Terms of Service
Effective September 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of the SWE Insider website and interview preparation service (“SWE Insider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Contact us at support@sweinsider.io.
1. The service
SWE Insider provides a company-organized bank of software engineering interview questions, follow-ups, solutions, and preparation tools. Content may include licensed material, publicly reported interview experiences, member contributions, and original practice exercises. Describing questions as “leaked” does not mean that we are affiliated with an employer or can guarantee its current interview questions.
Company names and trademarks identify preparation contexts and remain the property of their owners. They do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or a relationship with SWE Insider. Coverage, content, and reported interview dates can change. We do not guarantee every company is represented, every report is accurate, or that studying our materials will produce an interview, offer, or particular outcome. Solutions are educational explanations and require your own judgment.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. Provide accurate account information and keep it current. Each membership is for one person's use. Keep credentials secure, do not share or resell access, and contact us promptly about suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
An account alone does not unlock the question bank. Question content, follow-ups, and solutions require a verified paid membership. Account and billing controls remain available without an active membership, subject to identity verification and security restrictions.
3. Prices and payment
- Monthly membership: US $89 per month, charged when you purchase and automatically renewed monthly until canceled. You authorize recurring charges to the payment method selected at checkout.
- Lifetime membership: US $279 as a one-time payment, with no recurring membership charge.
Applicable taxes and the final amount appear before payment. Stripe processes payments and provides the billing portal. Your card issuer or bank may impose its own fees or currency conversion. Access begins after payment is confirmed; processing bank payments may take several business days. A payment failure, refund, reversal, or dispute may suspend the access associated with that payment.
“Lifetime” means access for the operating life of the SWE Insider interview preparation service, not your natural lifetime or a guarantee that the business will operate forever. It includes future additions to this question bank and its included preparation features without another membership charge. It does not promise separately sold services such as individual coaching. We may not convert your lifetime membership into a recurring subscription without your express agreement.
4. Cancellation, upgrades, and price changes
You can cancel monthly renewal through Account → Membership → Manage billing & invoices. Cancel before your next renewal to avoid the next charge. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your already paid period; access continues through that period unless payment is reversed or another provision of these terms permits suspension. If you cannot use the portal, contact us for help. Signing out or ceasing to use the service does not cancel a subscription.
A verified lifetime purchase stops an existing SWE Insider monthly subscription's future renewals. The lifetime purchase does not automatically refund or credit the unused portion of the existing monthly period.
We will give advance notice of a change to your recurring price and its effective date before it applies, including any notice or consent required by law. You can cancel before the change takes effect. A price increase for new lifetime purchases does not change the amount of a completed lifetime purchase.
5. Refund policy
Except where applicable law requires a refund or these terms expressly provide one, purchases are non-refundable, including renewal charges, unused monthly time, and lifetime purchases after access is made available. Canceling a subscription stops future renewal; it does not by itself refund a prior charge.
Contact us promptly about duplicate charges, an incorrect amount, unauthorized payment, or paid access that was not provided. Include your account email and receipt reference, but never a complete card number or bank credential. We will investigate and correct verified billing errors. An approved refund is returned through the original payment method where possible; processing time depends on Stripe and your financial institution.
Nothing in this policy removes a mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer right. We do not treat general acceptance of these terms as a waiver of a statutory cooling-off right. Where a separate request or consent is needed for immediate digital delivery, it must be obtained as required by law.
6. Permitted use and content rights
While your membership is active, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own interview preparation. You may keep your own notes. Rights in the software, editorial materials, and licensed content remain with SWE Insider or their respective owners.
Do not copy or redistribute the question bank, resell materials, share account access, scrape or bulk-download content, build a competing dataset from the service, or use protected content to train a model without written permission. Do not bypass access controls, access another person's records, interfere with security or availability, or use the service for unlawful activity. These restrictions do not remove rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.
Use the materials for preparation. Do not use them to impersonate a candidate, defeat an assessment's rules, or obtain unauthorized assistance during a live interview or examination.
7. Your contributions
You retain rights you hold in your submissions. Submit only material you have authority to share and authorize us to use. Do not submit material in breach of a confidentiality agreement, another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
For content you deliberately submit for editorial review, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, edit, adapt, reproduce, and publish it as part of SWE Insider, including through service providers working for us. This license allows us to maintain published, non-identifying editorial material after your account is deleted, subject to applicable law and any rights claim. It does not transfer ownership to us or give us a right to publish your private practice notes.
We may decline, correct, remove, or combine contributions. Publication is not guaranteed, and submissions do not create a payment obligation unless separately agreed in writing.
8. Content or intellectual-property complaints
If you believe material infringes your rights or contains personal or confidential information that should not be included, email support@sweinsider.io. Identify the material or question, explain your rights and concern, and provide contact details and supporting information. We will assess the request and take appropriate action. Do not include information you are not authorized to disclose. This contact is a rights-reporting channel, not a claim that we have registered a statutory copyright agent.
9. Account deletion and suspension
You can export your account records and request deletion in Account → Your data. The self-service deletion flow requires any monthly subscription to have ended first. Cancel renewal before deleting; contact us if you need assistance or wish to exercise a statutory deletion right. Deletion is irreversible, removes access to the account, and does not automatically create a refund entitlement. Lifetime membership is associated with its account and cannot be transferred by deleting that account.
We may restrict access to investigate payment fraud, protect the service, comply with law, or address a material breach of these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the restriction and give an opportunity to resolve or contest it through support. Urgent security or legal circumstances may require immediate action. Any refund rights required by law remain available.
10. Changes and availability
We may improve, correct, replace, or remove individual materials and features. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security, provider failures, or other operational reasons. Keep an export of important notes. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or any particular future question or employer coverage.
If we discontinue the paid service, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable and stop future renewals. We will refund unused prepaid monthly access if we end service before the paid period finishes, unless access ended because of your material breach. Lifetime membership ends when the service permanently ceases operating, subject to any refund or other remedy required by law.
11. Responsibility and legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and educational content are provided as available, without additional implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. You remain responsible for how you use the materials and for your interview conduct.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated when the agreement was made. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of US $279 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Any mandatory rights you have under local consumer law take priority over conflicting terms.
12. Disputes and changes to these terms
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Doing so is not a requirement that prevents you from seeking a legal remedy or contacting a regulator. Disputes may be brought in a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. These terms do not require private arbitration, waive class proceedings, or remove mandatory protections in your home jurisdiction.
We will post updated terms with a new effective date and give appropriate advance notice of material changes through the service or account email. Changes apply prospectively. If a change requires your express consent, we will obtain it before applying that change. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel future renewal and stop using the service, without losing any remedy required by law.
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Any failure to enforce a provision is not a permanent waiver. A transfer of the service must preserve existing paid membership obligations and applicable privacy protections.
